He probably died in November as his will was probated on 3 Dec 1884.

Henry R Terry was only 16 when he married his first wife, Harriet Loomis, and she died just two years later. Left with an infant daughter, he immediately married Elizabeth Tanner. He studied law and medicine, setting up his practice traveling between Union City, Corry and Edinboro, PA. In the midst of the Civil War, he graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1863 and became a local physician, treating wounded soldiers. He also dabbled as a dentist and undertaker during the years 1840-1881. Dr. Terry held several patents for improvements in compartmentalized bee hive designs.

Married (1) April 26, 1827, HARRIET LOOMIS (1811-1829), daughter of Samuel and Bathsheba (Baker) Loomis of North Brookfield, NY. One child, Mary Ann Terry.

Married (2) December 9, 1829, ELIZABETH TANNER, born in Crawford County, PA., July of 1809, daughter of pioneer settler John Tanner. They had 8 children but Elizabeth was granted a divorce in February, 1866.

Married (3) in 1866, widow LUCINA (SHERWOOD) STEVENS, born in Waterford, PA., November 14, 1835, daughter of Burnet M. and Eliza Sherwood and widow of Alpheus Stevens. No issue. She married again in November 1890 to Dr. Micajah Talbott.
