TRAVELERS REST - Eli Pittman, 77, of 9040 Tigerville Road, died Jan. 9, 1988, at a Columbia hospital following an extended illness.
He was a former employee of Bommer Hinge Corp. and attended Mt. Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Exie Stamey Pittman of the home; two daughters, Barbara Babb of Fountain Inn and Margie Tucker of Landrum; six sons, Juan Gary Pittman, Tracy Pittman, Russell Pittman, Dores Pittman and Arthur Pittman, all of Travelers Rest, and Luther Pittman of Landrum; two brothers, Fred Pittman of Landrum and Wesley Pittman of Travelers Rest; and a sister, Lindy Turner of Landrum.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in the Church cemetery.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Wood Mortuary in Greer.
The family is at the home.
