VICTIM OF HUSBAND'S WRATH STILL ALIVE
Mrs. Dolly Hood, widow of Eugene Hood, who is in the Pacific Christian hospital suffering from a bullet wound inflicted by her husband just before he killed himself with the same pistol, is holding her own, according to the report of the attending physician Tuesday.
The shooting fray happened early Sunday morning following a quarrel at their home near Marcola.

HENDERSON - Dollie May Henderson of 4664 Scenic Drive, Eugene, passed away May 7, 1984, at the age of 74. She as born June 13, 1909, in Springfield. She was married to her first husband, Eugene Hood, who preceded her in death. She then married Steven (sic) L. Henderson, who preceded her in death in 1961. She had lived in this area all of her life. She is survived by 8 children: Cecil Hood of Chemult, Thomas Henderson, Lloyd Henderson, Vera Wygle, LeRoy Henderson, Viola Keffer, all of Eugene, Harold Henderson of Springfield, Ellnora Uley of Puyallup, Washington, 25 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Hubert Hood, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 11, 1984 at 11 a.m. in CHAPEL OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME, 3745 West 11th Avenue, Eugene, with Pastor Ron Heiling officiating. Graveside services immediately following at Lane Memorial Gardens, 5300 West 11th, Eugene.
