Services Sunday For Watson Baby
Little Bobby Gene Watson, year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Watson, died at the home of his parents in Bethany early Saturday morning, March 26. He was born March 22, 1948.
The body was brought to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Watson, northeast of Carnegie Sunday where a short service was held and concluding services were at the graveside in the Alfalfa cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. W.E. Dittmer, Baptist pastor, in charge.
Survivors are his parents and a brother, Donnie; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Watson and Mr. and Mrs. George Birge, Binger; Great grandfather, J.W. Craig, Carnegie; and great, Great Grandmother, Mrs. A.D. Ford, Anadarko.
Other surviving relatives are 10 aunts, including Johnnie Mae Payne, Hydro; Vella Stewart, of Putnam; Reba Watson, Carnegie; Mayme Foster, Bell Tillman, Ada and Jessie Birge, all of Binger; Ruby Craig, California; Iva Walker, Mountain view and Johnnie Faye Lee of Bridgeport; also six uncles, Randall Watson, Mountain View; Carl, Raymond and Ronnie Watson, Carnegie; Henry Birge, Bethany and Arless Birge of Binger. All were present for the services except the aunt in California.
