Charley Ray Watson 72, born March 3, 1923, in Hydro, OK., died Dec 5, 1995, in Salem, Ore.

Charley was a WWII veteran and retired from the FAA in 1984 after 27 years. He spent his retirement spoiling his grandchildren and traveling. He had been a resident of Bethany for 45 years and was a member of the Bethany First Baptist Church.

Charley is survived by his wife, Christeen; 3 sons, Don of OKC, Ken of Vancouver Wa., Glen of Keizer, Or.; 6 grandchildren;; mother, Clara Watson of Carnegie; 4 brothers, Randall of Ar., Raymond of Va., Carl of OK., Ronnie of La., 2 sisters, Johnnie Mae Payne of Ca., Reba Simmons of Or.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by father, Johnnie Watson; son, Bobbie and sister, Vella Stewart.

Services 10 am Saturday, Bethany First Baptist Church with interment at Bethany Cemetery. Gene Adams Funeral Service.
