Christeen Louise Watson, 87, died Feb. 1, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born Sept. 30, 1923 in Hanna, OK to George and Virdie (McDaniel) Birge.

She was a longtime Bethany resident and a member of First Baptist Church, Bethany. On April 1, 1944, she married Charley R. Watson in Anadarko, OK. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobbie.

She is survived by 3 sons: Don and wife Nancy, OKC; Ken, Vancouver, WA; and Glen and wife Jane, Salem, OR; sister, Jessie Shanklin, Rochester, MN; daughter-in-law, Sandy Watson, Hutto, TX; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Thurs., 9am-9pm, with the family receiving friends from 5-8pm, at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Fri., Feb. 11, 2:00pm, at First Baptist Church of Bethany, with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
