Alfred LaPierre Stricken In Home
Alfred LaPierre, 41, of 17 Whittier St. suffered a fatal heart attack in the living room of his home about 12:30 yesterday. He had been receiving treatment from a doctor for heart trouble. Medical Examiner W.A.R. Chapin said death was caused by coronary thrombosis. Born in Indian Orchard, Nov. 5, 1908, son of Joseph and the late Lillian(Dennis) LaPierre, he lived in Springfield 20 years. He was employed as machinist for Chapman Valve Manufacturing Co. Besides his wife, Mary (Mastrioanni) LaPierre, he leaves two sons, Joseph and Alfred; one daughter, Elizabeth, all at home; three brothers, Frank and Ovila of Indian Orchard and Harold of Warehouse Point, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Maude Donahue of Pawtucket, R.I. The funeral will be held at the Ratell funeral home, Saturday at 8:15
followed by a requiem high mass in St. Aloysius Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
