Vecie was the daughter of Harrison M. Anderson and Caroline Love Anderson. She married George Perry Dancy Sr and they had two sons, George Perry Dancy (deceased) and Keith Dancy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church. Vecie and George had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Aug. 4th with her son, Elder Keith Dancy officiating.
