The death of Henry Eichelberger, a well known farmer near Witmer, occurred on Saturday morning at his home, from a stroke of apoplexy, in the sixty-eighth year of his age. Deceased was born in Germany, but came to this country when a young man. He was a member of Salem Reformed Church at Heller's. He is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. John Goretzke of Ronk's; Milton, at home; Mrs. Elmer Siedhof, Intercourse; Mrs. Harry Wilson, Groff's Store; Mrs. Christian Troop, Lancaster; Mrs. Edward Starr, Rohrerstown; Elizabeth, Lancaster; Minnie, Harry, Cora, at home. Deceased is also survived by a brother and a sister in Germany, whom he visited two years ago. (The Semi-Weekly New Era - Jan 24, 1912)
