The actual grave location where little James Nathaniel is buried is lost to time, but thanks to a letter written by his father, Israel Barlow, to Israel's wife, Elizabeth Haven Barlow, concerning her request that as he passed through Nauvoo on his way to his mission in England in 1853, he find little James Nathaniel's grave on their former property and re-bury him in the main cemetery in Nauvoo, we know that he is buried there. His name is on the wall of the kiosk beside the burial ground as one who is buried there. A copy of the story is told in the July 2009 Ensign Magazine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Brent A Barlow, and can be found on LDS.org. or on this link - https://lds.org/ensign/2009/07/daddy-do-not-leave-me-here?lang=eng&cid=email-shared .
