Daughter of Israel and Elizabeth Haven Barlow. (also spelled name as Pamela)

Wife of David Wilkin Thompson and Chester Rufus Call.

Mrs. Pamelia E. Thompson passed away at her home in Bountiful, Wednesday of pneumonia, after an illness of nearly a week.

She was the daughter of Israel and Elizabeth Haven Barlow and was born at Nauvoo, Ill., September 6, 1844.

She crossed the plains to Utah in 1848, moving to Bountiful shortly after.

In 1870, she was called on a mission with her husband to settle at Panaca, Nevada, where she remained until the death of her husband in 1874. Her husband frieghted ore from Pioche to Bullionville, Nev. for a number of years. She then returned to Bountiful where she has since resided.

She served as a teacher in the Bountiful Sunday school during the twenty-one years or more that the late C. R. Jones was superintendent. She was also in the presidency of the East Bountiful Relief Society.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by the following children: David W. Thompson, Enterprise; Mrs. Charles L. Smith, Centerville; Mrs. A. B. Call, Colonia Dublan, Old Mexico; I. E. Thompson, Chesterfield, Idaho and Mrs. Hyrum Sessions, Bountiful. Thirty-one grandchildren and sixty-six great-grandchildren also survive her.

To enable her daughter, Mrs. Call, to get here, the funeral will be held next Monday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in the Bountiful Tabernacle. Bishop Quayle Cannon will be in charge. The remains may be viewed at the family residence until 1:30 p.m. Monday.
