Charles A. Wellman, 85, died Tuesday night, August 8, at a Hastings hospital. He was a long time resident of this community, and before his retirement engaged in farming in Webster county.
The deceased is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Allie Cline and Mrs. Ernest Brown of Marshfield, Oregon; Mrs. Frank Merten of Coquille, Oregon; Mrs. E.D. Lacey of Boulder, Colorado, and Mrs. O.H. Martin of Blue Hill.
Funeral services will be held at the Merten Bros. Funeral Home with the Rev. J.A. Lemming in charge.
