Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Caldwell, 77 of 1129 N. Davidson St., who died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in McEwen West Chapel.
Dr. George Moore, pastor of the Allen St. Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. J. Clyde Yates, pastor of Eastway Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Caldwell was born June 24 1883, in Union County, daughter of the late Frank and Roxanna Richardson Belk. She was a member of the Allen St. Baptist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. L.W. Kirkman of High Point and Mrs. W.A. Ray of Charlotte: a son, C.C. Caldwell of Newport News, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Hurley, Mrs. H.V. Boger, Mrs. A.L. Purser of Charlotte; a brother, Bud Belk of Charlotte; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
