Diane Florence Allred Taylor was born on September 18, 1939 to Armond Eugene and Irene Allred in San Francisco, California. She returned home to our Heavenly Father on July 31, 2010.

She is survived by her devoted husband Larry Clark Taylor, her three children; daughter, Sheila (Jim) Heaton, sons, Jeff (Penny) Taylor and Scott (Melissa) Taylor.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She generously gave of her time and talents and made many handmade clothes, dolls and blankets for not only her family, but for countless others, including those she never knew. She had a giving heart and served others generously.

Diane lived a valiant life and was faithful in her devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and often shared her love of music during church service.

She provided loving care as a home day care provider for over 20 years and blessed the lives of countless children in her care.

Although our family will miss her, we are grateful for her love, her example and her faith. "This is how a legacy is built, one memory at a time." (Mitch Alborn) May her legacy continue on in each life she touched.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all of those who have loved and served Diane and whose prayers have sustained and strengthened them during her recent illness.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com
