Mrs. Jeffreys
Mrs. Annie Mae Jeffreys, 78, Rt. 1, Town Creek, died Wednesday at her home. She had been ill three days.
She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Service was at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Robert McGee and Rev. Clarles Ruchards officiated. Burial was in Hardshell Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home of Tuscumbia directing.
Surviving are her husband, Obie Jeffreys, Rt. 1, Town Creek; daughters, Methel Jeffreys, Sheffield; Mrs. Katherine Truschka, Macon, Ga., sons, Cecil Jeffreys, Town Creek; brothers, Charlie Taylor, Lacye's Spring, Ala., Granville Taylor, Macon, Ga., nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
Bearers were David Jeffreys, Jimmy Jeffreys, Dale Brackin, Gene Brackin, Anthony Tippett, Hoover Redding.
