Granvile Benton Jeffreys, Muscle Shoals, 70, died Saturday, April 20, 1996. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Hardshell Cemetery. VIsitation will be 1-2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Kermit Owens.
He was retired from Muscle Shoals Mack and was a member of Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, David Benton Jeffreys, Tuscaloosa; daughter, Francis Owens, Moulton; sisters, Methel Jeffreys, Muscle Shoals, Katherine, Georgia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
