LIZELLA - Donna Qutene Ashley Leonard, 65, passed away Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday.
Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. The Rev. Ray Tharpe will officiate.
Mrs. Leonard, daughter of the late Rufus and Ezma Horne Ashley, was born in Dublin and had lived in this area most of her life.
She had worked as a clerk and was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Leonard was a devoted Christian and she loved caring for children.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sammie Echols and brother, Troy Ashley of Macon.
Survivors include her husband, Charles T. Leonard, Jr. of Lizella; her son, Charles A. Leonard of Lizella; her sister, Gail Walker of Lizella; three brothers, Hank Ashley, Tony Ashley and Jerry Ashley; numerous nieces and nephews.
