EZRA SATTERLEE MEMORIAL
Ezra Satterlee was born l4 Jan-1822 near Monroe, Saratoga County, New York. In February, l837, he removed to Jackson Co., Michigan with his parents, he being then fifteen years of age.
Brother Satterlee came to Montcalm county in 1847, where he settled in Eureka township, on Section #7. He was married to Adaline Demarest, of Otisco, Ionia County, 8-June-l852. He died surrounded by his devoted wife, two sons, one daughter and numerous relatives and friends, in the home where he had lived for 43 years, 5 Oct l890, age 68 years, 8 months & 2l days.
This Memorial excerpt was read at the 25th annual meeting of the Washington Club, at Belding, Michigan, on the 20-Feb l89l.
