Hubert O. Echart, 61, died at his home on West Main street at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning following a week's illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday after, 3 o'clock, at the Methodist church with the Rev. J. W. Hopkins and the Rev. Raymond Trompler officiating. Cooper Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Born Aug 16, 1897 in Petty, Mr. Echart was a farmer and carpenter by trade, in which he was active until the recent illness.
Survivors are his wife of the home, and three sons, Alvin Echart of Espanola, N. M., H. O. Echart, Jr., and James Echart of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Eddie Harvey of Dallas, and six grandchildren.
He also is survived by three brothers, Luther and Jim Echart of Dallas and Fagan Echart of Paris; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Hamilton, of Fort Worth and a half-brother, Dee Manual of Irving.
