He married Pearl Mae Boozer June 30, 1904,in New Salem, Armstrong County, PA.

His second marriage was to Elsie Mae Ruth on Oct 11, 1918, in Jefferson County, PA.

Funeral services were held at the Leasure Run Methodist Church on Friday, July 8, 1955. The Rev. John Shaffer officiated.

Arrangements by Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn, Pennsylvania.
