Smith, Oldham of R.F.D. No. 4, Springfield, died at 7 a.m. March 24, 1921, at St. John's Hospital, of complications, 24 years old. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Mary Paul Smith; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Smith, three brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the residence, four miles northwest of the city, and at 2 o'clock at the West Side Christian church, Rev. Gilbert Jones officiating. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Oldham did farming work at the age of 13 and drove a truck for the Teamster's Union at the age of 23 which was his profession at the time of his death. Physical description taken from his U.S. World War I Draft Registration Card, 1917-1918: Tall with a slender build, dark blue eyes, and dark brown hair, with deformed arms.
