ROBERT B. HEACOX

Widely known conductor of the Pittsburgh division of the Pennsylvania Railroad, died at 12:30 o'clock noon at the family home, 2115 Seventh Avenue. He had been ill for two months suffering from a complication of diseases. He was born on Dec. 11, 1869, at Conemaugh, the son of George and Lydia Heacox. He resided in Altoona for fifty-two years and had been employed by the Pennsylvania railroad for that period.

Surviving are the widow, who was Miss Jeannetta Dick, whom he married on August 15, 1893, and three daughters and one son, Mrs. James Gearhart of Mont Clair, N.J., Mrs. Alfred Brennan of Kenafly, N. J., Mrs. Dr. C. M. Brown of Altoona and Albert Heacox of Uniontown.

Surviving are also five sisters and one brother, George Heacox of Altoona, Mrs. Ada Benner of Canton, O., Mrs. William Wallace, Mrs. Samuel Wallace, Mrs. William Smith, and Miss Mary Heacox, all of Altoona. He is also survived by four grandhildren. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, the P.R.R. veterans association and the B. of R.T.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with services at the home. Interment will be made in Alto-Reste cemetery. The body may be viewed after this evening.
