Mary was the daughter of John Benjamin Partlow and Jane (Stevens) Partlow. She married James William White in Indianapolis on January 1, 1891. They had four children, Arthur Raymond, C.A. (lived only 1mo.), Esther D. and Clara Naomi. They were only married those 8 short years due to her death in 1899.

PLEASE NOTE! - There are many researchers who have CONFUSED my ancestor (listed above with the correct BIO) as married to a James Henry Standt and having two children with him named Mary Ellen and William. THIS IS NOT CORRECT and this family is confused with our line. This family is listed in the 1900 census for Laurel Township, Franklin County, Indiana on page 9B. MY ancestor of this FindaGrave memorial DIED in 1899, therefore, she was not even alive during this census year. Other proof of this being incorrect information is a living Granddaughter whose mother lived near her sister her whole life until her death in 1899 and states the correct only one spouse and listed 4 children given in the bio above. My ancestors nickname was "Mollie" never "Maude".
