Last Rites are Conducted For Cash Cartier

Requiem high mass was conducted for Cash Cartier of Red Lake Falls Wednesday, September 11, at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Red Lake Falls with Rev. William Keefe officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cartier passed away Sunday, September 8 at the age of 75 years.

Cash Cartier was born March 26, 1882 at Red Lake Falls and has resided in that area most of his life. October 1, 1908 he was united in marriage to Obeline Beautrow (s/b Goulet) and she passed away in 1918. August 22, 1923 he was united in marriage to Anna Constant and she passed away July 25, 1956.

Mr. Cartier was superintendent of the Northern States Power company in Red Lake Falls, St. Hillaire and Gentilly for many years until his retirement a few years ago.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Carlson (Leone) of this city; Mrs. Robert Christopherson (Mary Ann) of Vacaville, Calif.; Mrs. Ambrose Emard (Connie) of Lancaster, Minn.; three sons, Leo and Kenneth of Red Lake Falls; Leonard Cartier of Detroit, Mich; 15 grandchildren, one brother William Cartier of Red Lake Falls, and one sister, Mrs. Bruno Toutant of Bemidji.
