RAY PADGETT
Ray Padgett, 75, of Livingston, TN, passed away May 1, 2001. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 3, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. The Rev. Terry McCloud and the Rev. Clayton Padgett will officiate.
Mr. Padgett was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Overton County, TN, the son of Millard and Ada Williams Padgett.
He was a used car dealer, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Padgett of Livingston; sons, Hoyt Padgett and Ray Padgett, both of Livingston, and David Padgett of Dayton, OH; daughter, Sharon Arabi of Dayton; stepdaughters, Ilene Day of Livingston and Irene Coffman of Monterey, TN; brother, Wilbur Padgett of McMinnville, TN; sister, Avia Jones of Cookeville, TN; three granddaughters, Saria Arabi, Holly Kirk and Katie Hicks; and four great-grandchildren.
