Mrs. Anna B. Burchfield Looper, 50, of the Phillipi community near Bismarck died this morning in the Clark County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Beaton.
Mrs. Looper was born Dec 19, 1917, at Amity, the daughter of Rufus and Viola Abernathy Burchfield and had lived her entire life in the Amity-Bismarck area.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Looper of Bismark; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Franklin of Bismarck; two brothers, Joe Burchfield of Arkadelphia and James Burchfield of Hot Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Norma Sue Dester of Amity, Mrs. Frances Collins of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Mrs. Gladys Rains of Empire, Oregon, and Mrs. Aileen Rains of Santa Paula, California, and one grandchild, Christie Franklin.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Murry Ruggles Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Allen, Bob Lambert, Hugh Jones, Doyle Looper, Delmore Hunt and Floyd Williams.
