Lottie A. Senft

JEFFERSON - Lottie A. Senft, 93, died on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover. She was the loving wife of William H. Senft who passed away in 2001.
A funeral service in celebration and thanksgiving for her life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St. Codorus, with her pastor the Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband following the service at St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Cemetery, Brodbecks. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Lottie was born in Manheim Township, York County on March 9, 1917, the daughter of the late Ira Albright and Annie S. Fuhrman.
She graduated from Codorus Township High School in 1938. Lottie was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson and was active in the Sunday School at the church. She was also a member of the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Jefferson AARP Chapter 3966 and the Western York County Democratic Club.
Lottie is survived by her sons, Richard E. Senft and his wife, Barb of Jefferson and Harry R. Senft and his wife, Marge of Harrisburg; her daughter, Loretta E. Lippy of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Treva Werner; and her son-in-law, Charles Lippy.
The Irwin-Beck funeral home and Cremation Service, P.C., Spring Grove, is in charge.
