Born April 20, 1931, in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Pearl E. (Johnson) Head.
She is survived by two daughters: Dana Terry and Carol Shaiper, both of Hillsboro; two brothers: Leeman (Wilma) Head of Perryville and Victor (Virginia) Head of Farmington; two sisters: Pat Gentry of Bellevue, Neb., and Lenore Porter of St. Charles; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dona Kraus; two brothers: Dale Head and Virgil Head; two sisters: Glenda Stout and Ina Boesch; one grandson, Robert Oswald; and one great-grandson, Brian Vessell.
Funeral services were held June 1 at the White Water Christian Church in Perryville. Burial was in the White Water Christian Church Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
