Lenora Porter, 84, of Wentzville died October 14, 2013 at Parkland Care and Rehabilitation in Wentzville, MO.
She was born March 2, 1929 in Yount, MO, daughter of Charles and Pearl (Johnson) Head. She and Lloyd Porter were married September 15, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1984.
Lenora was a home maker and a member of Whitewater Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Sally) Porter of Edgar Springs, MO, Dennis (Cindy) Porter, MO, David (Joan) Porter Sr. all of Elsberry, MO; one brother, Leemond (Wilma) Head, of Yount; one sister, Pat Gentry of Bellevue, NE; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Garry Porter and Rodger Porter; three sisters, Glenda, Ada, Ina; and three brothers, Virgil, Victor and Dale.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Whitewater Christian Church. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am with Rev. Ray White officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
