Mr. Lensing was born in Scranton and had lived in Windsor Heights since 1950. He was a retired partner with Hunter Insurance Agency and most recently had worked in the accounting department of Mercy Medical Center. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and a member of Dowling Club.
He is survived by his wife, Bette; two daughters, Julie Lensing of Des Moines and Mary Pat Lensing of Hartford; three brothers, George of Jackson, Miss., Tom of Little Rock, Ark., and Casper of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Helen Buss of Little Rock, Ark., and Dorothy Murphy of Fort Worth, Texas; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the church, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Theresa's Foundation, Mercy Medical Center Foundation or Dowling High School. Westover Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
