"Edith Mary Vinzant, daughter of Euell and Mary Barber Williams was born in Mercer county, Mo., August 27, 1894. She departed this life at the Decatur County hospital at Leon, Ia., July 25, 1967 at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 18 days.

"On January 17, 1910, she was united in marriage to Grover Cleveland Vinzant who preceded he rin death on Nov. 19, 1960. To this union four children were born; Mrs. Donald (Clairetta) Watson of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs Raymond (LaVerne) Zimmerman of Corydon, Carol Vinzant of Davenport and Kermit Vinzant of Buffalo, Ia.

"Edith was a member of the Lineville Baptist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was a loving mother, a kind neighbor and friend and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

"She was one of twelve children, eight of whom preceded her in death, as well as her father and mother. She was also preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Donald and Raymond.

"Surviving are her two daughters, Clairetta and LaVerne; two sons Carol and Kermit and two daughters-in-law, Marge and Barbara; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Marolf of Clio and Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, Yakima, Wash., and a brother, Raymond Williams of Mercer, MO., and other relatives and friends.

Edith Vinzant, 72 Of Lineville Dies

Mrs. Edith Vinzant, 72, died July 15 at the Decatur County Hospital, Leon. Ia. Funeral services were held at the Greenlee Funeral Home, Lineville, Ia., Wednesday afternoon, July 19. The Rev. Roy Donelson officiated assisted by the Rev. Edwin Cline. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Vinzant was born Aug. 27, 1894 in Mercer County, a daughter of Euell and Mary Barber Williams. She was married Jan. 17, 1910 to Grover Cleveland Vinzant who died Nov. 19, 1960.

Surviving are two sons, Carol Viinzant, Davenport, Ia. and Kermit Vinzant, Buffalo, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Watson, Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Raymond Zimmerman, Corydon, Ia., two sisters, Mrs Mae Marolf, Clio, Ia., and Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, Yakima, Wash., a brother, Raymond Williams od Mercer; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
