Death of Mrs. Arvilla Marolf

Mrs. Arvilla Marolf, wife of Frank Marolf, died at her home 2 1/2 miles southwest of Lineville Friday, April 27, 1917 of tuberculosis after several months illness, aged 27 years, 1 month and 25 days.

Funeral services were held from the home on Sunday, April 29th conducted by Rev. A. E. Jervis, pastor of the M. E. Church of this place, interment following at the McKinney cemetery south of Mineral Springs.

Arvilla Elitha Williams, daughter of Euell and Mary Williams, was born in Mercer Co., Mo., March 2, 1890 and died April 27, 1917 at the age of 27 years, 1 moths and 25 days. She was married to Frank Marolf March 4, 1908. To this union were born two sons, Lionel Rex, age 8 years and Oliver Max, age 6 years, which she leaves to mourn her loss together with the sorrowing husband, father, mother, five brothers and five sisters, besides a host of relatives and friends.

The deceased was born and lived nearly all her life in the neighborhood where she died, was a conscientious woman, a kind and thoughtful mother, a lovable wife, good neighbor and has many friends who join with us in extending condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved husband and family.
