King Prather Killed In Auto Accident.

A long distance telephone message to "The Leader" this morning told of the death of King Prather, of Lanett. The death was caused by an automobile accident at or near Albany, Georgia last night about 10 o'clock. Mr. Prather, accompanied by a negro, was on his way to Florida for a load of fruit.
Information as to how the accident happened was not given. Mrs. Prather and friends left immediately to bring the body back to Lanett. Funeral will be conducted at Lanett Baptist Church tomorrow, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. and the interment will be in the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Marcoot in Chambers County.
Mr. Prather lived here for many years and has a host of friends who sympathize with the bereaved ones. The negro in the truck was only slightly injured.
