Thomas G. Renaud, 75, of 15040-A Willow Way, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Erie, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996, at Columbia Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was born in Karthaus, Clearfield County, Jan. 12, 1921, son of the late James A. and Anna A. Shaduck Renaud.
Before moving to Florida, Mr. Renaud was a foreman at Boyer Industries in Erie. He was a former member of Cascade United Methodist Church.
Mr. Renaud was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 9th Infantry Division, 47th Infantry Battalion.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, James and Robert Renaud; and two sisters, Agnes Torok and Jane Crowley.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Boyer Renaud; a daughter, Paula L. Averill of Clearwater; two brothers, Russell and Bernard Renaud, both of Clearfield County; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) Kosobucki, Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Dabrowski and Mrs. James (Marge) Ireland, all of Erie; two grandsons, Thomas Madrigale of Erie and Robert Madrigale
of Clearwater; a granddaughter, Laura Miller of Clearwater; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Merle E. Wood Funeral Home, 215 W. 25th St., Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held there Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis A. Fetter, pastor of Simpson United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial, with a military service conducted by VFW Post 470, will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
