Karthaus - Mrs. Anna Shadeck Renaud, 57, wife of James Renaud of Karthaus, died in the Philipsburg State Hospital Monday, May 19, following an illness of seven weeks.
She was born December 31, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Shadeck of Drifting. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Catherine and Marjorie at home, Russel and Michael of Snow Shoe, Francis, Robert, Thomas, Agnes, Jane, Mrs. Richard Kosbucki of Erie, and Private Bernard Renaud of the U.S. Army, stationed in South Carolina.
The deceased is also survived by seven brothers, one sister and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 23, with interment at Frenchville.
