Miss Idonia Atkinson, 83, died this morning at her home, 10 miles north of here. She had been ill for 15 months.
Miss Atkinson lived in the area north of here most of her life. She moved here from Olean in Miller County with her parents, James M. and Susan Isabelle (Miller) Atkinson, when she was 10 years old.
She was a member of the Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star of Russellville and also of the Homemakers Club.
Survivors are two sisters, Miss Dora Atkinson of the home, and Mrs. Fannie Keck of Tebbets; and a brother, Bryan Atkinson of near Barnett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home here.
