Lanelle Davenport Koliba, age 69, died Feb. 20, 2010 in Port Lavaca. She was born in Dewville on Aug. 2, 1940 to Truman and Iva (McKinny) Davenport.
Lanelle was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Henry Paul Dingler Jr. (Sept. 17, 2008) and her husband, Erwin Koliba (Jan. 14, 2009). Lanelle is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pat Dingler; grandson, Dillon Dingler; sister, Joy Day; nephews and family, Curt Day, Chris, Leslie, Hanan and Lailah Day; step-children, Sheryl and Michael McFarland, Vicky and Lee Kalisek, Daryl and Linda Koliba, Tanya and Max Carrion and Randy and Donna Koliba. Numerous relatives and friends also survive Lanelle.
Viewing and visitation was held Monday, Feb. 22, from 4–7 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel with Don Hessong officiating. Interment will follow in the Dewville Cemetery.
