The daughter of Joseph C. Bell and Azubah Nairn, Cuba married Frank Snyders on 28 Jun 1918 in Clark County, Indiana. He was stationed at Camp Taylor in Kentucky at the time.

Children from first marriage: None.

Cuba's second husband was Herman Fiedler. He was a farmer and pipe fitter, and also served as a member of the Batchtown Town Board.

Cuba and Herman were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Batchtown. They did not have any children.

Children from second marriage: None.

At the time of her death at Jerseyville Care Center, Cuba was 90 years, 4 months and 15 days old. She was survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cuba was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; 5 brothers, Elbie, Joseph, James, Charles and William Bell; and 4 sisters, Zedna Snyders, Zola, Leta and Harriet Bell.

Visitation was held from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on 12 Dec 1990 at Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. the following morning at Zion Lutheran Church in Batchtown. Cuba was buried next to her husband, Herman, who passed away in 1962.

The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Batchtown.
