She married John Marsh Walker on 21 April 1880 and they had 9 children they named: Ollie, James, Alphonsa, Della, Stella, Cora Elizabeth "Lizzie",Adda Lynn, Dewey Marshal and Blanch Walker.
For several years her family lived on their farm in Macon Co., Missouri were they farmed near the parents of Jessie James. They told stories of sitting on their porch and watching the teenager Jessie and his brothers ride by their farm on horseback heading for town where they were known trouble makers.
About 1895 the family migrated to PA by wagon train. There were no bridges and they had to cross the Missouri river and mountains.
