Mrs. Bert Harsch
Mrs. Flora Belle Harsch, 89, died at the Good Samaritan home at the Ottumwa air base Wednesday at 8:20 a.m after a lingering illness.
Her home, where she spent more than 60 years, is at 1301 Chester avenue.
Surviving is her husband, Bert Harsch, also a patient at the Good Samaritan home; a son, Lloyd Harsch of Ottumwa; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Barnes of Blakesburg; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert LaRue of Ottumwa, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Mullenix of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Eunice Caulkins of Buffalo, Mo.
The body is at the Knedler funeral home in Blakesburg, where the service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Keith Knauss of Calvary Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers are Martin Huber, Russell Smith, Ernest Nord, Herbert Schmidt, Delph Orman and Ira Hancock.
