Jacks (1872- ), Ida Adeline Jacks (1876-1934), Mary E. Jacks (1878-1960) and Arthur Clifton Jacks (1893-1968)
In the 1900 census William was living in Township 1, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, USA. He was living with his parents and siblings Ida A. Jacks and Arthur C. Jacks.
He was married to his first wife Lola Clair Embree (1889- ) on or about 1904 and they had one child Edgar R. Jacks (1904 – 1989).
William Oscar Jacks served in the military in World War I and according to his World War I draft registration he enlisted on September 17, 1918.
The 1920 census shows he was living in Purcell, Oklahoma with his wife Lola and son Edgar.
He was married to his second wife Lela C. Embree on or about 1930 at age 48. It is interesting to note that Lela's first husband, Robert Thomas Embree was the brother of Williams Oscar Jacks first wife Lola Claire Embree.
The 1930 census shows that William Oscar Jacks was living in St. Louis, Oklahoma, USA with his wife Lela and their two children, Lester B. Embree Jacks (b.1915) and Vela O. Embree Jacks (b.1917).
