Arthur C. Jacks was born August 29, 1893 in Sulfur, OK. In 1900 he lived with his mother Anna and father Martin in Township 1, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, USA. In 1910 he was living with his widowed mother Anna in Mosley, OK. Arthur grew up helping on the family farm. In 1920 he was an automobile salesman living by himself at the Bristol Hotel in Easton, OK. It must have been a pretty nice hotel because his fellow boarders were an attorney, a manager of the lumber yard and a druggist. He served in World War I as an F3 in the U. S. Navy.

He was married to Ireta Son on April 9, 1921 and in 1930 lived with his wife and three daughters at 1512 W. 11th in Oklahoma City, OK. The three daughters were Rella, Dorothy and Lajoy.

Arthur died May 24, 1968 in Oaklahoma City, Ok and is buried in the East Hill Cemetery in Roff, OK.
