Ida Adeline "Jacks" Harrison was born in Arkansas, USA on August 12, 1876. She was a daughter of Martin S. Jacks (1843-1901) and Anna Florence Allen Jacks (1852-1930). She had four other siblings: Amelia A. Jacks (1872- ), Mary E. Jacks (1878-1960), William Oscar Jacks (1882-1964), and Arthur Clifton Jacks (1893-1968).

In the 1880 census she lived in Spadra, Arkansas and in the 1900 census she lived in Township 1, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, USA. In the 1920 and 1930 census's she was living in Mosley, OK.

She was married to Walter A. Harrison and had one child, Ruth Hazel Harrison (1902-1977).

Ida died June 12, 1934 in Sulphur, OK and is buried in the Palmer Cemetery in Palmer, OK along with her husband Walter who died February 19, 1933.
