Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta E. Johnson, 76, Red Oak, will be held Friday, June 2, at 10 A. M. at the Sellergren Funeral home here. She died at her home, 310 Nuckols Street, Red Oak, Iowa, Tuesday, May 30, after an illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Gertrude Martin will officiate at the services and burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery at Nyman.
The daughter of Claus and Johanna Abraham, she was born July 27, 1884, in Sweden and came to Red Oak in 1914. She was married in 1901 to Jospeh A. Johnson, who died in 1955. She was a Christian Scientist.
Surviving are three sons, Rheuben of Omaha, Robert of Des Moines, and Roy H. of Council Bluffs; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Durlem, Jefferson; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two bothers, Claus Abraham of Red Oak, and Frank Abraham of Harcourt.
