Mrs. D. L McMullen died Wednesday, the funeral taking place Friday from the Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. McClelland of Corning, assisted by Rev. Taylor and Linn. Mrs. McMullen had many friends in this community. Had she lived a few days longer, she would have been 71, and been married 50 years. And now her companion of all these years is left alone, his life-long companion gone to her reward, his home broken up and a vacancy left in his heart never to be filled on this earth, and only known to those who have passed that way. Mr. McMullen has six girls and three boys to mourn the loss of his wife and home and mohter, with a host of friends outside the family to extend sympathy.
