Miss Mary Acock married William Gregory Collins in 1871. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. L.E. Collins made her home with her son, George Franklin Collins who was an engineer at the Graham Flour Mill. She died at her son's home on South Plum Street

Services were held at the First Christian Church in Graham officiated by Rev. Charles C. Klingman, pastor. His sermon message indicated she was a faithful member of the First Christian Church. Rev. Klingman's heart felt message inspired those in attendance not to forget their home lies in Jesus Christ.

She was the oldest child of her family. There were 10 children who were born to B.F. and Nannie Acock. Three sisters preceded her in death.

At the age of 16, she accepted Christ as her Saviour and united with the Christian Church and has lived true to the faith throughout her life. Her influence has always been felt wherever she has lived. She is now with her Savior.

In 1869, she moved with her family to Texas. She married W.G. Collins in 1871. To this union were born 11 children. Five children preceded their mother in death. After the death of her husband, she lived with her son, G.F. Collins.

Survived by her children - W.B. Collins, A.K. Collins, H.E. Collins, G.F. Collins, C.E. Collins, Mrs. W.J. Page.
