Mrs. Addie Lorenia Curtis, aged 51 years, died Sunday evening at her home, 280 North Ninth avenue. Mrs. Curtis, wife of Harvey J Curtis, had been ill for ten weeks. She was a resident of Sterling for 37 years.
Mrs. Curtis was born 8 Apr 1892 in Smith Co, Kansas, daughter of Henry and Alice Innes Irish. She was married 20 Dec 1907, to Harvey J Curtis.
Surviving Mrs. Curtis, besides her husband are seven children: Mrs. Ruby Long of Sterling, Glen Curtis of Wilmington, CA, Randall Curtis of the US Army, Asa and Floyd Curtis of Sterling, Harold Curtis of Los Angeles, CA, and Shirley Curtis of Sterling; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mabel Shipley and MRs. Myrtle Adams of Franklin, NE, Mrs. Gertrude Woodward of McCook, NE, Mrs. Tressie Bartelson of Greeley, CO, Miss Susie Irish of Charles City, IA, and Guy Irish of Gragan, MO.
