Elizabeth Mosteller, 66, of Rt. 1, Hayesville, died unexpectedly Wednesday June 16, in a Murphy hospital. A native of Marcola Ore., she was the daughter of the late John V. and Flora Mae Reed Irish. Surviving are her husband, Henry C. Mosteller of Hayesville and three sons; Nicky Mosteller of Marble, Roy and Dean Mosteller of Hayesville; two brothers, Ralph Irish of Panama City, Fla., and Jack Irish of Eugene, Ore.; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday June 18 in Tusquittee Church of God of which she was a member. The Revs. Buford Ledford and Mike Collins officiated. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Carringer, Thurman Nelson, Garland Mull, Edd Sherlin, Donald Spunk Mosteller, and O.A. Blakenship. Honorary pallbearers were Perry Carringer and Oren Garrison. Ivie Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
