Mr. Ben Sexton, of Menifee County, died Sunday morning from complications of troubles, aged 65 years. Mr. Sexton was a ex-confederate soldier, was a brave, true soldier, and honest and well known citizen. He was Constable in Frenchburg precinct and gave attention to his office the same way as if he was receiving from it a handsome compensation.

Maytown News: B. F. Sexton, a former citizen of this town, died at his home in Frenchburg Sunday and was buried Monday evening at Claypool Graveyard on Blackwater. His father, 86 years old, five brothers, and a three sisters, and a host of relatives and friends attended the funeral.
