Larry Craig Sims, 49, of Paducah, formerly of Mayfield, died at 2:25 a.m. Thursday at his home.
Mr. Sims owned Hooper's Outdoor Center in Paducah. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ, a graduate of Mayfield High School and Murray State University, and a member of the 1978 Mayfield High School state champion football team.
Surviving are his wife, Vicki Lee McNeil Sims; one son, Adam Craig Sims of Paducah; his parents, Larry Sims and Bonnie Bennett Sims; two brothers, Kerry Sims of Owensboro and Johnny Jackson of Mayfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Broadway Church of Christ with Dan Owen and Andy Clausen officiating. Burial will be at Cuba Community Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
